2005 Saturn Ion

Automobiles

In 2005 the Aisin five speed automatic transmission was discontinued, and the VTi continuously variable transmission used in the quad coupes between 2002 and 2004 was also discontinued. General Motors' four speed 4T45 E replaced both transmissions, becoming the only available automatic transmission option, and the 2005 Ion sedan received a new steering wheel. This page belongs to the Saturn Ion model on its Saturn make page, and it links to the generation and the neighbouring model years so that the whole run of the model can be followed in order.
