Rover 75 (Mark I)

Automobiles

The Mark I Rover 75 began as part of a group of three new designs for the company under the guidance of Richard Woolley, of which only the 75 concept progressed. The initial aim was to reskin the Rover 600, but following the BMW takeover in 1994 it was decided that this platform would not be reused. It debuted at the Birmingham Motor Show on 20 October 1998, with deliveries from February 1999, and had a rear suspension based on BMW's Z-Axle. Its model years run from 1998 to 2004.
