The Silver Spirit III and Silver Spur III were introduced in 1993, with engine improvements and some cosmetic updates. A new design of intake manifold and cylinder heads increased power output, and the semi active suspension was altered so that shock absorbers would default into a soft ride mode when they wore out, rather than a hard one as before, which had noticeably affected ride quality. The car was built by Rolls-Royce Motors at Crewe.
