A remodelled rear light assembly was introduced on the Silver Cloud II in May 1962 and a change to single sealed beam headlamps was made in August 1962. The Silver Cloud III was first displayed to the public at the Paris salon at the beginning of October 1962, alongside the Bentley S3, on a specialist coachwork stand as though the modifications were made to the special order of a particular customer.
