Rolls-Royce Phantom III (single generation)

Automobiles

The Phantom III was a single generation, introduced in 1936 and powered by an aluminium alloy V12 engine of 7.32 liters, a pushrod engine with overhead valves operated by a single camshaft in the valley between the cylinder banks. It is unusual for its twin ignition systems, with two distributors, two coils and 24 spark plugs. It had independent front suspension by a coil spring system and a four speed manual gearbox. Its model years run from 1936 to 1939.
