In 1938 the 25/30 was given a new chassis with independent front suspension, and became the Wraith. The 25/30 built between 1936 and 1938 had been the last of the line of Rolls-Royce 20 hp type cars begun with the Twenty. Only the rolling chassis and mechanical parts were made by Rolls-Royce, and bodies were fitted by a coachbuilder selected by the owner. The 25/30 was built by Rolls-Royce Limited.
