1934 Riley Nine

Automobiles

By 1934 the Monaco and Kestrel were of all aluminium coachbuilt construction, and the Lynx gained four doors and lost its disappearing hood. The Imp sports version was produced in 1934 and 1935 and earned a reputation for its good looks with swept back wings, and light bodied competition versions did well in the 1934 Ulster Tourist Trophy, after which they were known as the Ulster Imp. Kay Petre and Dorothy Champney finished 13th at Le Mans in an Imp.
