2005 Range Rover

Automobiles

A facelift for the 2006 model year was prepared in 2005, and the BMW V8 was replaced with Jaguar's AJ-V8 in 4.4-litre and supercharged 4.2-litre forms; the new model was presented at the 2005 Detroit show and released in summer 2005. The 2006 car also had an updated infotainment system. From 2005 its electronics were Ford and Jaguar systems in place of BMW ones, and Greenpeace activists briefly disrupted production at Solihull that year.
