The Evoque Convertible's model years started from 2017, a four-seat car based on the three-door Coupe with a power soft top, 20-inch wheels and a drop-down tailgate, and the five-door Evoque continued with the 2016 update. In March 2017 Land Rover unveiled the Range Rover Velar, whose new design language, with smoother surfaces and a new interior, would be adopted by the second-generation Evoque. The Evoque was by then sold with the Ingenium engines.
