For 1995 the SE and SSE trims received the naturally aspirated Series II 3800 engine, making 205 horsepower and 230 pound feet of torque, while the SSEi kept the Series I supercharged 3800 until the 1996 model year, when it too was updated. The SLE package continued, and the Bonneville was in the fourth year of the ninth generation that debuted for 1992. The SE, SSE and SSEi were the trim levels of the model in 1995.
