After the Plymouth brand was discontinued in 2001, the Prowler was sold as the Chrysler Prowler for the 2001 and 2002 model years. It was the same hand built roadster with the 253 horsepower V6, now under the Chrysler badge, and it was available in 12 colors across its two production runs. The 253 horsepower V6 reached 60 miles per hour in about 5.9 seconds, and the electronically limited top speed was 126 miles per hour.
