In 2010 United States production of the Tacoma was moved to Toyota's plant in San Antonio, Texas, where it was built alongside the Tundra. The truck was by now in the middle of its second generation, in the mid size class. It was model year 6 of 11 in the Toyota Tacoma (second generation, N220 to N270), 2005 to 2015, coming after the 2009 model year and before the 2011 model year.
