The second generation Mokka was launched in 2020 after a brief hiatus, marking the switch to a PSA platform after the acquisition of the Opel and Vauxhall brands in 2017. The second generation Mokka B was announced in August 2018 by the show car Opel GT X Experimental concept and unveiled on 24 June 2020. Its model years run from 2021 on. It was the first Mokka under PSA ownership, later Stellantis, with the electric Mokka e.
