Automobiles

In July 2014 Opel announced the discontinuation of the Ampera, citing a slowdown in sales, and outlined that between 2014 and 2018 it planned to introduce a successor electric vehicle in Europe. General Motors had hinted at the Ampera's forthcoming discontinuation in early 2013, as its vice chairman expressed frustration regarding the car's unenthusiastic reception in Europe. This page belongs to the Opel Ampera model on its Opel make page, and it links to the generation and the neighbouring model years so that the whole run of the model can be followed in order.
