Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight (sixth generation, 1959 to 1960)

Automobiles

For 1959 the Oldsmobile line up was completely redesigned. Unlike other General Motors makes such as Chevrolet and Cadillac, Oldsmobile continued to use a full perimeter frame, instead of the GM X frame. The Ninety Eight shared its appearance with the Oldsmobile 88 and was offered in four body styles on an exclusive 126.3 inch wheelbase. Its model years run from 1959 to 1960. This page belongs to the Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight model on its Oldsmobile make page, and it links to the generation and the neighbouring model years so that the whole run of the model can be followed in order.
