For 1961, and 1961 only, the Oldsmobile Ninety Eight was renamed Classic Ninety Eight, though most factory literature still called it the Ninety Eight. A fifth body style was added to the four offered since 1955, a four door six window hardtop that had been exclusive to Cadillac and the Buick Electra, and the Holiday Sedan name was transferred to it. This page belongs to the Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight model on its Oldsmobile make page, and it links to the generation and the neighbouring model years so that the whole run of the model can be followed in order.
