The Alvis Stormer is a British tracked armoured vehicle made by Alvis Vickers, today part of BAE Systems Land and Armaments. It is a larger and more modern development of the CVR(T) family of Scorpion, Scimitar and Spartan vehicles, with an extra road wheel on each side, and it grew from the stretched Spartan design known as the FV4333. The Stormer is sold in many configurations, among them a turreted version with a 25 mm cannon, air defence, engineer, recovery, ambulance, mine layer, mortar carrier, command, bridge layer and logistics versions. The British Army uses the Stormer HVM for short-range air defence with Starstreak or Martlet missiles, and Stormers have also served in Indonesia, Oman, Malaysia and Ukraine.
