1956 Nash Statesman

Automobiles

The 1956 Statesman received larger and slanted front parking lights and larger tail lamps. Nash discontinued the mid tier Statesman line, with the final units built in August 1956, and from the 1957 model year all full size Nash cars were Ambassadors. The Statesman had lasted seven model years in two generations, having started as the renamed Nash 600 in 1950, and its demise left the Rambler as the company's main small car.
