The Mark I Morris Mini-Minor ended its run in 1967 when the Mark II Mini was launched at the 1967 British Motor Show. The Cooper S won the Monte Carlo Rally for the third time that year, and the Morris name car was by then part of British Motor Holdings, renamed from BMC in December 1966, which merged with Leyland the following year. The Mark II took over from the Mark I at the end of the year. Production of the Mark I ended after eight years.
