The Morris Mini Traveller estate was introduced in 1960 on a slightly longer chassis of 84 inches, with double barn style rear doors and a decorative ash wood trim on the rear body in the style of a pre war shooting brake, which gave it a similar appearance to the larger Morris Minor Traveller. The Mini Van, with the same fuel tank layout, appeared in the same period. The estate was the first of several body variants on the Mini floorpan.
