1963 Morris Mini-Minor

Automobiles

In 1963 the Morris Mini-Minor was in its fifth year, joined in the range by the Morris Cooper and Cooper S versions, which were sold as the Morris name performance versions alongside the Austin Mini Cooper. The Wolseley Hornet and Riley Elf of 1963 switched to a Cooper derived 998 cc engine in their Mark II models, which raised their top speed from 71 to 77 mph. The range now included Cooper models as well as the basic 850.
