1962 Morris Mini-Minor

Automobiles

Until 1962 the cars appeared in North America and France as the Morris 850, and in Denmark the Morris version was sold as the Morris Mascot, which stayed on sale until 1981. In 1962 the Morris 1100 was launched with the Hydrolastic suspension that would be added to the Mini two years later, and Ford launched the Cortina as a larger budget rival. The 850 name pointed to the size of the engine in cubic centimetres.
