The Series II Isis was based on the body of the Morris Oxford Series III with a longer wheelbase and different wings and bonnet to fit the six cylinder engine, and BMC redesigned it for 1956 with a more elaborate mesh grille, chrome side strips and small fins. The engine power rose to 90 horsepower and automatic transmission was an option. A Traveller estate was offered, but sales stayed weak and the line ended in 1958. Its model years run from 1956 to 1958.
