In 1938 the Eight was updated with a slight restyle to match the other cars in the Morris range, as the Series II, with painted rather than plated radiator surrounds and Easiclean disc wheels in place of the wire spoked ones, the engine unchanged. For Australian buyers there was a coupe utility built by Ruskin Bodyworks in Victoria. In October 1938 the Series E brought a major restyle with a waterfall grille.
