1920 Morris Cowley

Automobiles

The last Continental Cowley was assembled in 1920, which finished the stock of original American engines. Three thousand engines had been despatched to Morris, though more than half were reported lost by enemy action while crossing the Atlantic, leaving around 1,500 sets of chassis components unsold, although more recent research suggests there may have been a single shipment of about 150 lost. The car had been designed for quantity production.
