For the 2017 model year Ram Trucks rebadged the Triton as the Ram 1200 for the Middle East market. In April 2017 the Triton was updated with additional safety features. The fifth generation Triton of 2017 was the third year of its generation, powered by a 2.4 liter MIVEC VGT turbodiesel of 181 PS. The Triton is a mid-size pickup truck, also known as the Mitsubishi L200, produced by Mitsubishi Motors. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles did not introduce the Fullback in the North American market due to the U.S. chicken tax.
