The Pajero iO of 2001 was in its fourth year as a mini SUV of Mitsubishi, offered in Japan as a three door and a five door under the iO name. The name was said by Mitsubishi to generate an image of being easy to get to know and easy to drive, and imported versions elsewhere were sometimes called the Montero iO or the Pinin. The car was exported as the Montero iO and to Europe as the Pajero Pinin. The Pajero iO is a mini SUV produced by the Japanese manufacturer Mitsubishi.
