In April 2019 the Final Edition model of the Pajero was released, marking the end of the long run of the full-size SUV in Japan. The Chinese Q6 used the 4G64 engine and a five speed manual in 2019. The fourth generation was in its fourteenth year, with the Pajero Sport as the model that kept the name alive after the Pajero's discontinuation. It was sold as the Montero in Spain and Latin America and the Shogun in the United Kingdom.
