Starting in early 2026 for the 2026 model year the Outlander has been supplied to Nissan as the Nissan Rogue Plug-in Hybrid in the North American market. For 2026 the 2.5 liter PR25DD engine was dropped and replaced by a 1.5 liter 4B40 turbocharged engine with a 48 volt mild hybrid system. The Rogue Plug-in Hybrid is planned to end for the 2027 model year. The Outlander is a compact crossover SUV made by Mitsubishi Motors since 2001.
