The Thai market Mirage was unveiled at the 2012 Bangkok International Motor Show on 28 March 2012. In Indonesia the Mirage was launched on 17 September 2012, imported from Thailand, and in the Philippines it was awarded the 2012 to 2013 Car of the Year by the Car Awards Group. For 2002 era Colt's replacement in 2012, Mitsubishi resurrected the Mirage name internationally. The last Mirage model is a subcompact hatchback and sedan.
