The Minica of 1965 was in its fourth year as the facelifted LA21 with the ME24 engine, a more powerful engine than before that gave the 360 line a top speed of 85 km/h. The Mitsubishi 360 and the Minica had been so successful, against the Subaru 360 and the Suzuki Fronte, that Mitsubishi ended its production of three wheeled vehicles. The Minica had a front-mounted ME21 359 cc twin-cylinder air-cooled engine driving the rear wheels.
