1989 Mitsubishi Lancer

Automobiles

The Lancer in 1989 was in its second year of the fifth generation, a front wheel drive five door liftback in Japan and a sedan in export markets, derived from the Mirage and sold at Galant Store dealers. A station wagon and van variant had joined the lineup in 1985 and continued to 1992, and the Lancer sedan kept the Lancer name in most export markets. Between its introduction in 1973 and 2008 over six million Lancers were sold.
