In 2018 the Grand Lancer built in Taiwan by China Motor Corporation was the only Lancer on sale after Mitsubishi's worldwide production ended in 2017. It was an extensive facelift of the previous platform, with the new Dynamic Shield grille and creases in the side panels, and with the interior, hood, bumpers, fenders, door panels, boot lid and rear bumper redesigned. It was in its first full year as the tenth generation.
