The 1.8 EXE and the 1.8 DOHC EXE were added to the SAVA in May 1991. The Eterna of 1991 was in its fourth year as the fourth generation, with a five door hatchback sedan and the four door Eterna SAVA based on the Galant, and with the ZR-4 the flagship with the turbo engine, at 240 PS. The hatchback was the Car Plaza sister of the sixth generation Galant. The SAVA in the name of the four door Eterna comes from a casual French greeting that asks how one is.
