The second generation Chariot grew in wheelbase, length, width and height while staying within the Japanese compact car rules, and used the updated 4G63 engine in place of the G63B. A 2,350 cc 4G64 was added in 1993, and the Resort Runner GT of 1995 was a turbocharged four wheel drive version sold only in Japan. It received a minor facelift in September 1994. Its model years run from 1991 to 1996.
