Mitsubishi 3000GT (second series)

Automobiles

The second series, unveiled in August 1993 in Japan and gradually reaching other markets as the earlier cars sold out, brought 16 inch wheels on the base and SL models and 18 inch chrome wheels on the VR-4. Mitsubishi marketed a retractable hardtop variant, the GT Spyder or VR4 Spyder, engineered and converted from coupe models in California by ASC, for model years 1993 to 1995. With price increases, features such as the tunable exhaust, the electronic suspension and the active aerodynamics were dropped. Its model years run from 1994 to 1996.
