The Toyota Corolla Verso is a compact MPV that the Japanese carmaker Toyota produced between 2001 and 2010. The first generation sold by Toyota Motor Europe was a rebadged Japanese domestic market Corolla Spacio of the E120 series, first released in Japan in May 2001, and in the United Kingdom it launched on 2 January 2002 together with the E120 Corolla. The second generation was unveiled at the 2004 Geneva Motor Show, became a separate model in March 2004 on the second generation Avensis, and was not sold in Japan. It had four engine choices, a 1.6 or 1.8 litre petrol and a 2.0 or 2.2 litre diesel, and a 2.0 litre 1CD-FTV diesel was available for all grades of the first generation.
