The Toyota bB is a mini MPV that the Japanese carmaker Toyota launched in 2000, with a second generation developed jointly with Daihatsu from 2005. The first generation was built between January 2000 and April 2005 at the Takaoka plant in Toyota, Aichi, with further production at the former Central Motors from August 2004 to December 2005. The car was badge engineered and sold as the Daihatsu Materia, the Scion xB and the Subaru Dex. In the United States the first generation was sold under the Scion brand as the xB from June 2003 to 2007, and the export xB continued until December 2006. A coupe utility version was called the bB Open Deck. The second generation was unveiled at the 2005 Tokyo Motor Show, and Toyota ended production in May 2016, replacing it with the Tank and the Roomy.
