Opel Zafira (Zafira C, 2011 to 2019)

Automobiles

The Zafira C, called the Zafira Tourer, was the third generation of the Opel Zafira. It was previewed in concept form at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show and the production version debuted at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show in September, going on sale in November 2011. It was largely based on the Opel Astra J and grew in size to rival the Ford S-Max, while the Zafira B stayed on sale as the cheaper Zafira Family. A natural gas version was announced in December 2011, a dual fuel vehicle whose CNG tank gave 530 kilometres with a 14-litre petrol tank for extra range. A June 2016 facelift dropped Tourer from the Opel name and brought Astra K styling. It won Best Estate at the German Car of the Year awards of 2012 and the Golden Steering Wheel 2012.
