The Mitsubishi Savrin is a compact MPV produced and sold in Taiwan by China Motor Corporation together with Mitsubishi Motors. The first generation was a locally assembled, badge-engineered Chariot Grandis, which under an agreement with Soueast Motors of mainland China was rebadged there as the Soueast Sovereign. The second generation, introduced in June 2004, is a heavily revised facelift of the same Chariot Grandis platform with redesigned front and rear fascias; it was sold in Taiwan only and received another facelift in 2009 with a new grille, tail lamps and rear bumper. The source article is short and gives no dimensions, engines or fuel, so this entry records the model's lineage, market and facelift history and does not state the technical facts.
