2006 Mazda6

Automobiles

The Mazdaspeed6 arrived for 2006 as the high performance Mazda6, called the Mazdaspeed Atenza in Japan and the Mazda6 MPS in Europe, South Africa and Australia. It used a turbocharged 2.3 liter engine with direct injection, a six speed manual gearbox and all wheel drive, and it had been shown as a concept at the Paris Motor Show of 2002. The four cylinder cars with automatic transmission also received a five speed gearbox that year.
