2009 Mazda2

Automobiles

Asia and the Pacific got Mazda2 cars built by AutoAlliance Thailand from 2009, and the facelifted hatchback was revealed in Thailand in October and launched in Thailand and Indonesia in November. The North American Mazda2 made its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in 2009, and Ikuo Maeda, who had led the design of this generation, was promoted to head of design at Mazda that year, two years after the car's launch.
