2008 Mazda RX-8

Automobiles

The 2008 year brought a limited edition to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Mazda's rotary engine, with 200 of the 40th Anniversary Edition built exclusively for Australia, and the R3 version was first introduced in Japan. In November 2008 Mazda improved the body rigidity with a trapezoidal shock tower brace. The RX-8 won the 24 Hours of Daytona GT class in 2008, campaigned by SpeedSource, and Mazda delivered 30 RX-8 Hydrogen RE cars to HyNor.
