The R360 was built to be extremely light and cheap, with a 2+2 layout in which the rear seat did not suit adults, an aluminium engine, an alloy chassis that used even magnesium and acrylic instead of glass for the curved rear window. It weighed only 380 kg, ran on a rear mounted air cooled V twin of 356 cc and could reach 84 km/h, and a pickup called the B360 was built on parts of the coupe. Its model years run from 1960 to 1969.
