Automobiles

The MX-5 was still in production in 2025, the eleventh year of the ND generation that began in 2015, as a lightweight two seat roadster and Retractable Fastback with the 181 horsepower engine. It had been manufactured by Mazda since its debut at the Chicago Auto Show in 1989, and sold as the Miata in the United States, the Roadster in Japan and the MX-5 elsewhere. In Japan it was marketed as the Mazda Roadster, and in the United States as the MX-5 Miata.
