In 2023 the CX-60 was launched in South Africa on 5 May in Dynamic and Individual trims, in Cambodia in May with the 2.5 liter rear drive Evolve, in Chile on 16 June, and in Australia from June after pricing was announced in November 2022. It went on sale in New Zealand in September 2023 alongside the CX-90 in Touring, Homura and Takami trims. It sits on Mazda's Large Product Group platform with a longitudinal engine and rear biased all wheel drive.
