2023 Mazda CX-50

The 2023 model year was the first of the CX-50, sold in the United States and Canada, and from March 2023 in Mexico, and built in China by Changan Mazda from March 2023 with a longer rear bumper and 55 millimeters more rear legroom. The 2023 CX-50 won the IIHS Top Safety Pick Plus award, though non turbo models were rated acceptable on headlights. In November 2023 the CX-50 HEV went on sale in China. Mazda's i-Activ all wheel drive and the Mi-Drive drive selector are standard on the CX-50.
