In 1994 the Carol was in its sixth year, the last full year of the second generation before the new Carol of 1995. It was an Autozam kei car with its round headlights and cute looks, a product of its time like the Nissan Be-1 and Pao, with a 657 cc F6A engine and front or all wheel drive, built by Suzuki for Mazda. Four-wheel drives received a five-speed gearbox. The Autozam brand was Mazda's youthful brand and was used on Mazda's kei cars for some time.
