The B series of 1992 was in its eighth year of the fourth generation. In 1992 the larger Mazda B2200 engine of 2.2 liters in the F2 variant had a fuel injected version of 91 horsepower for California. The truck was assembled in Zimbabwe at the Willowvale Mazda Motor Industry plant in Harare, with 1.6 and 1.8 liter engines. Through its association with Ford, Mazda produced the B series as the Ford Courier and the Ford Ranger.
