The Infiniti Q70 and Q70L are a line of mid-size luxury executive cars from Nissan's Infiniti division, essentially an update of the Infiniti M series with minor cosmetic changes. When Infiniti renamed its whole range in 2013, the M sedans became the Q70, reflecting the model's position in the range instead of its engine size. The Chinese model went on sale in 2012 and United States models in the 2014 model year, with 3.7 and 5.6-liter engines and a hybrid, while European versions offered a 2.2-liter diesel and the hybrid. The long-wheelbase Q70L, based on the Nissan Cima, was unveiled at Auto Shanghai in 2015. Nissan confirmed in 2019 that the Q70 would end after that model year, though the Q70L was still offered in China in 2022.
